Urban Initiatives’ 10th Annual Halloween Party – GALAWEEN – was a SPOOKtacular success! A huge THANK YOU goes out to all of our friends who came out to have a great time and support our sports-based youth development programs.
Halloween décor was over-the-top amazing as the team at Event Creative and Venue One transformed the space into a room fit for ghosts and goblins! DJ Diverse, a seasoned headliner at parties across the nation, was spinning tunes before guests had even arrived. His diverse musical selection and superior turntable skills made it hard for partygoers to not get down and BOO-gie the night away!
The hosted bar was stocked by generous contributions from Miller/Coors and Diageo brands. All night, guests were enjoying Ketel One Vodka and Captain Morgan’s Black Rum cocktails as well as sipping on Miller Lite, MGD, and Blue Moon.
From witches to bumblebees, from Slash to Freddy Krueger, the party was packed with incredible costumes. The caliber of costumes made the costume contest extremely challenging to pick a winner, but in the end, the crowd picked the Jamaican Bobsled Team as their favorite. Ruby Banipal and Devangi Patel looked incredible and took their costume to the next level. Congratulations ladies!
After the contest the dance floor was packed and the fun continued until 1:00am.
